Silk VFX LLC operates Silk VFX. This page explains what we keep, why we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it.
What we store
We store your email address to run the service and contact you about Silk, including access, service updates and support. If you choose to share them, we also store your Discord handle and role.
When you join the waitlist, we store the date you joined. We may also store the campaign source and referring website to understand where sign-ups come from. We record the referring website's origin, not its page path or query string.
How we use your information
We use this information to operate Silk, manage access, respond to your requests and send you relevant Silk updates. We never sell your data.
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy
Lemon Squeezy is our merchant of record. It appears as the seller on receipts and handles payment processing and applicable sales tax/VAT. Your payment details are handled by Lemon Squeezy, not us. Silk VFX does not collect or store your card details.
Lemon Squeezy handles the payment information you provide under its own Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare and cookie-free analytics
Cloudflare hosts this site and processes requests. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated submissions. For rate limiting, we briefly store a salted hash of your IP address that rotates every minute. Old rate-limit records are removed as requests arrive.
Our analytics integration is Cloudflare Web Analytics. When enabled, it measures site traffic and performance without cookies. We do not set analytics cookies or use advertising trackers.
Deletion and stopping updates
You can request deletion of your information or stop receiving Silk updates by emailing support@[MYDOMAIN]. Please contact us from the email address associated with your account or waitlist entry so we can identify the information to delete.
We keep your information only while we need it to run the service, support your account or send updates you requested, unless we are required by law to retain it. Lemon Squeezy manages its own payment records separately.
Age requirements
Silk is for users aged 13 or older, or the minimum age required in their country. Users under 18, or the local age of majority, need a parent or legal guardian's permission as described in our Terms of Service.
